final: how to stay warm and look cool

Winter is on its way and we are still I summer mode; Consider this as a guide to help make the transition from hot to cold without having to buy a new wardrobe.
1.       Tank tops – Flirty ad free in the summer but once the cold hits pair it with a cute blazer cardigan or scarf.

2.       Boots – I think we still all have that pair of jeans that fit us from ninth grade but they are looking more like Capri pants these days. To make the transition from rolled up summer Capri pants is to pair them with your favorite pair of high boots to hide the length. No one has to know but you!

3.       Cardigans – That beautiful cardigan that kept you warm on those brisk summer nights won’t do the same this winter. Add a blazer to keep you warm and have a fabulous layering effect.
4.       Leggings – Usually used as pants in the summertime are now being used as an extra layer to keep your legs from getting cold. Pair them with some ripped jeans and let the color show through.

5.       Club Dress – Chilly and freezing are not the words you want to hear from the weather man before you go to the clubs. To make your dress work in this weather pair it with a peacoat.

All in all we don’t want to let go of those cute prints and styles we had this summer; and now we don’t have to! With these tips and tricks your wallet will be full and you will be looking fresh out on the town!

winter formal looks: lace

I love this look because it’s young and fun while still looking put together. Lace seemed to pop up on many runways this year and is definitely a fun trend to play with!

Florals and pastels are always pretty, but for the winter season, there’s nothing better than deep jewel tones.
