The puffy vest/jacket was popular when i was in elementary school and now the vest is making its way back into our closets this winter. The vest is cute without the overkill of the whole jacket. Pair the vest with a long-sleeve shirt under to keep warm and look cool.

It's cold you can't wear shorts. What a lie! Here are some tips and tricks to bring your shorts into another season. First make sure you don't already own a pair of shorts before you purchase some. Then once you have your shorts try putting leggings or tights under them to make your legs warmer. Also try some knee length boots or sock!



fashion rule: if you do not feel comfortable in it, don’t wear it

The purpose of fashion is to make you look and feel great. If you’re wearing something you hate, it’s going to show all over your face. Your confidence will be lower than normal, and you’ll be constantly focused on your outfit instead of having a great time. No matter the occasion, if you aren’t feeling an outfit or piece of clothing, don’t wear it.

Nothing can get more cute or comfy than leggings, a sweater and pair of boots. Add accessories and you are done!

At the work place, on a job interview, to a play, to church and even to a party always show up looking your best rather than a tee and some jeans. If you do not know the dress code always one: look cute and two: ask a friend that is going to the same place what they are wearing. Works every time!

Dress it up or down, a black dress will solve just about all of your fashion problems.

With cute shoes like boots, ballet flats, and even casual converse sneakers at your disposal, there’s just no excuse to rock athletic shoes with jeans.  In some jeans, and it’s a true fashion disaster. Don’t let this happen to you!

fashion rules: no pajamas in public

I have been guilty of going against this rule multiple times. Although it seems comfortable at the time, it is extremely awkward when you run into people from school or the work place. It is a good idea to wear cute pj's if someone comes to the door, but please keep the pajamas in your house.



fashion rules: never wear white to someone else's wedding

When you wear white to someone else’s wedding, you’re basically upstaging the bride on her special day. Even if you look amazing in white and/or the bride isn't wearing white this rule is one to live by.

The floaty layer adds a cute curve to your hips and the high waist complements the smallest part of your body. Who wouldn't love that!
